Bonus points for a 'sanity' unit test that would detect missing semi-
colons.

Title:
Add semi-colons at the end of JS code

Status in webbrowser-app package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  http://lucumr.pocoo.org/2011/2/6/automatic-semicolon-insertion/
explains why adding explicit semi-colons at the end of each statement
in JS code is a good idea. We should probably do that in webbrowser-
app (until now we’ve done the opposite by avoiding adding trailing
  semi-colons).
