Public bug reported: I'd like to upgrade OpenSSH to 7.2p1 in xenial, on the general principle that keeping OpenSSH as up to date as possible is a good plan. There are a few more changes to default crypto algorithms and some new features, but they're relatively minor compared to 7.0/7.1.
http://www.openssh.com/txt/release-7.2 Packaging changes are minimal; about the only thing I've done is reintroduce the slogin -> ssh symlinks removed by upstream in 7.2, in line with Fedora. ** Affects: openssh (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to openssh in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1554481 Title: [FFe] OpenSSH 7.2p1 Status in openssh package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I'd like to upgrade OpenSSH to 7.2p1 in xenial, on the general principle that keeping OpenSSH as up to date as possible is a good plan.
