Title:
LightDM ignores shell choice, at least for "KDE plasma"
Status in lightdm package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
I just upgraded 11.04 to 11.10. The login manager gives me a cog,
upon which I click. I see a list of shells. KDE Plasma is among
them. I select it and enter my password. I get not KDE but Unity
again. No errors, no offers to install the necessary software, just
silent flouting of my wish.
I've selected "KDE" at the login prompt and then re-clicked and sure
enough the indicator bullet is next to KDE. So it's accepting my
clicks.
