Public bug reported:

I have been suffering from a bug recently in 16.04 where I come back to
my desk, when it's supposed to auto-lock the screen due to inactivity,
but instead I have a black screen with a mouse cursor.

Doing ctrl+alt+f1, and top shows me apport using all the CPU. If I kill
it, and return the screen is back to a normal lock screen.

How can I help find the issue?
