Hi Jean-Luc, please let me ask a few questions:
1) Did you see a window with the fitbit login on the screen?
2) Did you find similar problems with other accounts than fitbit?
3) Did it happen after you pressed the login button on the fitbit scope, or did
the problem appear spontaneously?
4) Are you able to create a fitbit account from the System Settings (in order
to do so, you need to restore the files under ~/.local/share/accounts/)
If it happens again, could you please try to attach to the process via
gdb and get a backtrace? The command should be
gdb /usr/bin/online-accounts-ui <pid>
(gdb) thread apply all bt

Bug description:
The following process seems consume abnormal resource since ota10 upgrade:
/usr/bin/online-accounts-ui --socket
/run/user/32011/online-accounts-ui/ui-1-com.canonical.scopes.fitbit_fitbitaccount
--profile com.canonical.scopes.fitbit_fitbitaccount_1.0.41
To quickly stop the mess, I manually removed files about fitbit
configuration in phablet accounts:
rm
~/.local/share/accounts/applications/com.canonical.scopes.fitbit_fitbit.application
rm
~/.local/share/accounts/providers/com.canonical.scopes.fitbit_fitbitaccount.provider
rm
~/.local/share/accounts/qml-plugins/com.canonical.scopes.fitbit_fitbitaccount
rm ~/.local/share/accounts/services/com.canonical.scopes.fitbit_fitbit.service
and finally killing the offending process "/usr/bin/online-accounts-
ui" using command kill PID. My phone was becoming slow since ota
upgrade. After doing that everything became normal.
