Public bug reported: After having talked to the SDK team, I'm told that the following packages should be removed from the SDK seed:
* qtcreator-doc * qtcreator * qtcreator-plugin-ubuntu These cause qtcreator to be installed twice: as 'qtcreator' and (when the SDK is installed, as recommended, from the SDK PPA) as 'ubuntu-sdk- ide', causing much confusion to app developers. http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-core-dev/ubuntu-seeds/ubuntu- touch.xenial/view/head:/sdk ** Affects: ubuntu-meta (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to ubuntu-meta in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1575048 Title: Remove qtc* packages from the SDK seed Status in ubuntu-meta package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: After having talked to the SDK team, I'm told that the following packages should be removed from the SDK seed: * qtcreator-doc * qtcreator * qtcreator-plugin-ubuntu These cause qtcreator to be installed twice: as 'qtcreator' and (when the SDK is installed, as recommended, from the SDK PPA) as 'ubuntu- sdk-ide', causing much confusion to app developers. http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-core-dev/ubuntu-seeds/ubuntu- touch.xenial/view/head:/sdk To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-meta/+bug/1575048/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
