I also have a Dell XPS 13 and ever since I updated the trackpad is freezing up randomly for me too. External mouse works fine. The trackpad isn't exactly freezing, you can move the pointer by simultaneously pressing down left click on the trackpad and moving that finger. My trackpad however doesn't fix itself in a couple of mins. It only resets after a reboot.
