Title:
Unable to browse files on a Bluetooth attached device

Status in bluez package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Phone is discovered and successfully paired with Ubuntu desktop. Selecting
'Browse files...' from the Bluetooth UI opens the file browser that shows
folders on the device (after the device seeks user consent). However, no files
are visible in any of the folders.
When file is coped from desktop to the device, it gets copied (confirmed
using file browser on the device) but does not show in the file browser on the
desktop.
Ubuntu version: 12.01 LTS upgraded from 11.10
