Yes, I was able to add the activity name. I named it xcv15 or something like that and then selected/copied all and pasted it into the distance field. Then i erased the letters so that only "15" left. However I was unable to paste anything into a time field. I suppose thats bacause only two digits are allowed.

I wanted to input a 15km run. As first i wanted to input a distance: 15 and didnd succeded. I just couldn't write anything. As i switched the keyboard to numerical mode and pressed 1 the keyboard switched automatically back to letters mode but didn't input any digit nor a letter either. I succeded to paste the distance but as i wanted to input the time, again no inputwas possible.
