Unable to reproduce, I can copy both large total size of files (2.02 GB in a few folders of music) and a single large file (some 2.xGB) successfully with mtp 0.0.4+14.10.20140904~rtm-0ubuntu1.
Could someone seeing this issue try it again, with mtp debugging enabled (see below)? We need to figure out if there is a specific file name or combination of factors that causes this crash. To enable mtp debugging: 1- vi /usr/share/upstart/sessions/mtp-server.conf 2- add "env GLOG_v=4" after the existing "env GOOGLE_LOGTOSTDERR" line. 3- disconnect the device from USB 4- reconnect the device. ** Changed in: mtp (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to mtp in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1317263 Title: mtp-server crash when transferring music on #15 Status in “mtp” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Trying to copy a load of music to my flo device.
