After updating to ota-11, i removed the gmail account, added it again and many of the duplicated contacts are gone... but not all. I get 2 of many contacts. I suspect one is from gmail, other from the SIM, but i have no way to confirm that nor disable the SIM contacts to test. Either way, there are still duplicate contacts.
