This is in reference to the PIN entry through the Settings menu, not the PIN entry to unlock the phone.

I suspect this is planned as a way to indicate that the user should type there (although I question whether that hint is necessary). However, when you do type in that field, the dots stay the same. Expected behaviour: - I think the expected behavior is that the field is blank until you type, then dots appear according to the number of characters you type - (as a fallback, there could lighter "ghost" dots there that get replaced with darker dots as you type but this seems like a less desirable solution to me) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity8/+bug/1367700/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
