** Summary changed:

- spinning Ubuntu logo on update & boot feels cheesy
+ spinning Ubuntu logo on update & boot feels frantic and not very classy

** Description changed:

There is a large spinning Ubuntu logo during updates and a small spinning
Ubuntu logo during the boot process. I think there are two problems with this:
- - whatever the progress indicator is should be consistent (not one large and
one small),
- - more importantly, this progress indicator feels cheap and off brand to me.
The desktop has the word Ubuntu with dots which change colour to indicate
progress. That feels classier to me. Is there a specific reason we have
diverged from an existing (and excellent) solution? Isn't this unnecessary
divergence for the phone?
