Indeed, Yakkety has Qt 5.6 (so far) which brings some conceptual changes in the Qt internals which we are relying on. So far we managed to make them build, but that is not enough, as some functionality differs from how it used to be thus our tests fail.
As our target is not yet Yakkety but Vivid and Xenial, the bug can be classified as high importance. Should the decision be made to switch to Yakkety, we will rise its importance. In addition, here is a list of Qt 5.6 related bugs we must target: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-ui- toolkit/+bugs?field.tag=qt5.6 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to ubuntu-ui-toolkit in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1591908 Title: Unit tests fail on Yakketi Status in ubuntu-ui-toolkit package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Many of the UITK unit tets fail on Yakketi because Yakketi has newer Qt than Xenail and Vivid.
