I'm a bit confused. What if an application wants to support specifically
one of the landscape orientations. Is this a valid use case?

Title:
locked to landscape works only in one of two landscape orientations
Status in Machines vs. Machines:
Invalid
Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I understand that the game can only be played in landscape. There are
still TWO ways to hold the table in landscape. However, the game only
works in one of them.
To the best of my understanding the fix would be to replace
X-Ubuntu-Supported-Orientation=landscape
with
X-Ubuntu-Supported-Orientation=landscape,inverted-landscape
in the .desktop file.
