Have mako (Nexus 4) with display off and a logged ssh terminal with "sudo powerd-cli active".
With pristine image, top says unity8 CPU usage fluctuates between 6% and 10%. If I comment out the AnimatedSprite in Cursor.qml, CPU usage fluctuates between 0% and 1%.
