I searched around to see why this might be and ran across the following avahi mailing list post along with a patch to fix it: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/avahi/2012-July/002171.html >>> I would say you can safely ignore it, since any machine on your network running a recent OSX version will cause these messages. Here's a patch with what we change to avoid these messages flooding syslog. -Justin <<< The patch which fixes this is here: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/avahi/attachments/20120719/1e71846e/attachment.obj To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/avahi/+bug/1342400/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
