The problem is this would impose an unnecessary restriction on the user,
where the app can work just fine in the side stage - it is in portrait
there. Ultimately it's the user's choice and we want to respect that.
What would be your issue with this remaining as it is?

Bug description:
  Developers can restrict apps orientation by using
  X-Ubuntu-Supported-Orientations=portrait
  in .desktop file. Unfortunately it does not work in the new M10 tablet. You 
can see such app both in portrait and in landscape.
