Interesting that noone reacted on the bug. I was able to circumenvent the problem with the proprietary nvidia drivers. Actually I wanted to avoid this on a new installation, but I'm unable to work if the system freezes randomly if I enter a webpage with a video or launch a video podcast :-(

Is this a known situation? Does it make sense to switch to the proprietary drivers or can I add any more debug information before trying out the nvidia setup?
