Public bug reported:

Upgrading MSI GE72 2QC Apache Laptop with dual-boot Seven Pro + SSD
from 14.04 to 16.04 via UI (NOT dist-upgrade)

I had agreed to overwriting one configuration (preferences ?) file

Possible video issues ? (NVIDIA GTX960M)

prompt:~$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS
Release: 16.04

apt-cache policy pkgname
N: Impossible de trouver le paquet pkgname

I didn't know what to expect (message with dpkg-configure -a

Ended up with blank screen + blinking cursor up left
==> cold boot (big red button)
==> GRUB OK, Ubuntu booted fine
