Public bug reported: giving "halt -p" or "shutdown -p now" reboots system instead off powering off.
I have tried some kernel commandline options already, but without success: - reboot=bios - acpi=noirq but none did help. System keeps rebooting on "poweroff", "halt -p" or "shutdown -p now" ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 16.04 Package: systemd-sysv 229-4ubuntu17 Uname: Linux 4.9.11+ x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.1-0ubuntu2.5 Architecture: amd64 Date: Mon Feb 20 18:02:37 2017 InstallationDate: Installed on 2011-10-19 (1950 days ago) InstallationMedia: Xubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Release amd64 (20111012) SourcePackage: systemd UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: systemd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug package-from-proposed third-party-packages xenial -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1666269 Title: "halt -p" reboots instead powering off system Status in systemd package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: giving "halt -p" or "shutdown -p now" reboots system instead off powering off.
