Unable to connect to Midi in on Tascam US-X2Y
Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
The us-122 lights up, and I can make a midi connection through
aconnect, jack or patchage to the midi-in port. However, no good
connecting to the midi-out port.
Patchage gives me the best error output:
[ALSA] Subscription failed: Input/output error
Here are my current settings:

i can confirm the issue is also present in my us-224:

*NO* midi-out whatsoever :(
dmesg says:
ALSA sound/core/seq/seq_midi.c:234 midi output open failed!!!

This appears to be a bug in the PM code since kernel 2.6.39.
I'm on it ...
