Reviewing the package, it seems fine. It'd be nice if qtdeclarative5 -ubuntu-mediascanner0.1 could be dropped (just ubuntu-sdk-libs depends on it).
It needs a team bug subscriber from http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu- archive/ubuntu-archive-tools/trunk/view/head:/package-subscribers#L107 Since it doesn't do any format parsing itself, I don't think it needs a security review. There are a lot of bugs. Any comment from the maintainers about how stable this is? ** Changed in: mediascanner2 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to mediascanner2 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1669546 Title: [MIR] mediascanner2 Status in mediascanner2 package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: In order to add the mediascanner2 scope to the default image, we want to promote mediascanner2 and deps to main.
