Reviewing the package, it seems fine.  It'd be nice if qtdeclarative5
-ubuntu-mediascanner0.1 could be dropped (just ubuntu-sdk-libs depends
on it).

It needs a team bug subscriber from http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-
archive/ubuntu-archive-tools/trunk/view/head:/package-subscribers#L107

Since it doesn't do any format parsing itself, I don't think it needs a
security review.

There are a lot of bugs.  Any comment from the maintainers about how
stable this is?

  In order to add the mediascanner2 scope to the default image, we want
  to promote mediascanner2 and deps to main.  The scope itself is
  already approved (bug 1218409).
