Install qtbase5-examples. In one VT run mir_proving_shell. In another VT, do
chmod $USER /tmp/mir_socket
export MIR_SOCKET=/tmp/mir_socket
QT_QPA_PLATFORM=ubuntumirclient
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gn/qt5/examples/widgets/painting/affine/affine
then switch back to the mir server. You should see the example app.
Click the "Switch to GL" button
It crashes
