You have been subscribed to a public bug:
Take an image of aspect ratio 4:1 or more, large and wide enough, will
align it's left edge to left edge of the preview, and overflow the right
edge, instead of matching width. To help you understand the problem: if
you have "foobar" written on the wide image, you'll see only |fo| and
|obar will overflow the right edge.
