Status in Ubuntu UX:
Invalid
Status in unity8 package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
The expanded indicator bar is still too narrow on desktop.
Click on an indicator icon to make the bar expand. It grows to the
full screen height, but still very narrow. Too narrow for practical
efficient usage on a desktop.
