Title:
line input ports of saa7134 card aren't available

Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 11.10, pulseaudio 1:1.0-0ubuntu3

I'm trying to establish audio loopback from the video card (avermedia e500,
saa7134 driver) input and speakers.
  I've added the line "load-module module-loopback
source=alsa_input.pci-0000_03_00.0.analog-stereo" to the /etc/pulse/default.pa
file, and it works almost fine.

The problem is that only the tv tuner input is available in PulseAudio
(recognized as analog-input-video or "Video"), while two other inputs
  exist.

In alsamixer, available capture inputs are "Video", "Line 1", and
  "Line 2".

The "amixer -c 1" commands shows the following controls available:

  Simple mixer control 'Line',1
  Simple mixer control 'Line',2
  Simple mixer control 'Video',0

However, "pactl list" shows only one port, "analog-input-video: Analog
Video (priority. 7000)", and the same, i.e. "Analog Video" is the only
available Port in pavucontrol's "Input Devices" tab for the SAA7134
  device.

I'm using the card with the A/V input (composite video + stereo audio
inputs), and I can use "amixer -c 1 sset Line,1 100%,100% cap" or
alsamixer to select the "Line 1" input only while using e.g. arecord.
With pulseaudio switching with amixer and alsamixer only mutes the
"Video" input entirely and does not enable "Line 1" for the loopback
(as it does not exist for PA).

I've also played a bit with configuration files for profiles and paths
but could not make it work, as the documentation for them is quite
  laconic.
