It looks just fine for me. If you believe the problem to still exist in
Gnome Shell please comment on why that is the case and change the bug
status to NEW.

  dividers in rightclick menu are overpowering

  as of 16.10 the dividers in the nautilus right click menu (and also
  else where on ubuntu) are very deep and overbearing. They were lovely
  in 16.04 and have no clue why this graphic was changed...
