Title:
[Aspire 3830TG, Conexant CX20588, Speaker, Internal] No sound at all
Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Sound was working in an earlier version of 11.04.
Didn't notice exactly when it stopped. Running
upgrades every other day or so. Upgraded to 11.10
hoping that sound would work there.

Expect sound from hardware test speakers, input device showing.
No sound, except at the beginning of the ubuntu-bug audio test.
Input device, mic on display rim, was showing and responding in
meter before upgrade to 11.10.
