Title:
cannot detect sound card
Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
I *had* sound through internal speakers, but audio-out jack wasn't working.
Tried to install ALSA drivers using instructions and script here:
http://www.stchman.com/alsa_update.html . Now no sound hardware is even
detected. Using Ubuntu 10.10 on a Lenovo G560. I am a newb; be gentle.
