Bug description:
[regression] mir_proving_server mode hotkeys (Ctrl+Alt+=/-) cause the
server to segfault.
It appears there were two points of regression:
r3996: Hotkey mode change worked but server segfaults on shutdown.
r4012: Server segfaults on hotkeys pressed
Changing modes with `mirout' continues to work perfectly though.
