Sound no longer coming out of usb headset

Bug description:
On a recent upgrade (within the last day or so) my logitech headset is
no longer getting sound from the sound settings.
"ClearChat Pro USB" is selectable in the Output section of the sound
settings, but no sound comes out.
Tested the headset on my precise desktop to confirm that the headset
itself still works, and all is good.
