"Restart required" icon bad contrast with default panel background

Binary package hint: ubuntu-mono
The system-shutdown-panel-restart.svg is red, its combination with the
default "fuscous gray" panel background makes it unpleasant, I don't
know if low contrast is the issue here, but I dare you to read red
text on fuscous gray without weeping. It's just a bad color
combination, I don't even consider it a subjective matter.
Besides, bright red is a bit "scary", it screams urgency, like
something is wrong, which is not the case. IMHO a more subtle color
should be chosen, yellow is commonly used for something that requires
attention, orange would work too, but it's already used for icon
folders and other stuff, so it may not stand out enough.
Anyway, it's not my job to select a palette for this stuff, IIRC the
Ayatana group was discussing this a while ago; that said, the chosen
color should look fine with the default panel background.
