Option to not have "Mir-on-X" grab all input

Bug description:
I want to do that:
$ gdb fooMirServer
Then it runs as "Mir-on-X"
When it crashes, I want to be able to access my gdb terminal. But
currently I can't since "Mir-on-X" has grabbed my mouse and kbd and is
holding on to it. The only way out is switching to a VT and killing it
from there.
