---------------
libxcb (1.13-1) unstable; urgency=medium

  [ Julien Cristau ]
  * Switch xcb.freedesktop.org URLs in packaging to https.
  * Stop building -dbg packages, rely on automatic dbgsym packages instead.

  [ Helmut Grohne ]
  * Make build-dependencies cross-satisfiable (closes: #788861)
    + Mark python build-dependency with :native to pick an executable python
    + Do not build-depend on check when the nocheck profile is passed

  [ Timo Aaltonen ]

Title:
  FFE: xcb-proto/libxcb 1.13

Status in libxcb package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released
Status in xcb-proto package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  This will be needed for the first HWE stack in 18.04.2, so best to add
  them now and not as an SRU which will be more painful.

  xcb-proto
  Release 1.13 (2018-02-28)
  =========================
  * dri3: Add multi-plane/modifier protocol for v1.2
  * present: Add suboptimal-copy protocol for v1.2
  * randr: Add output-lease protocol for v1.6
  * Add support for variable-sized lists of FDs
  * xge: Add safe generic-event sending support
  * Fix initial connection handshaking
  * Updated XML DTD
  * Python 3.x cleanups and compatibility

  libxcb
  Release 1.13 (2018-02-28)
  =========================
  * Add support for variable-sized lists of FDs
  * Poll for events when blocking waiting for special events
  * xinput: Enable XInput extension by default
  * ge: Add explicit support for GenericEvent extension
  * Fix documentation warnings from clang
  * Cosmetic cleanups

  although it's hard for me to prove, but libxcb should fix a number of
  threading issues seen in the past.

  These are already in Debian testing, so they build and haven't caused
  regressions.
