Many bugs are now accumulating with this and similar issues surrounding Xorg. This is just one example https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1764087 There are others. Some are related to Lenovo laptops but not all. Shame that 18.04 LTS has been allowed to be released without this inherent bug being fixed. It is damaging Ubuntu reputation.
