I didn't copy the error message but it was something related to: util- linux And I think the error message was something related to that "it can't be true!" and it included a message like this: E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) Thereafter I couldn't install nor uninstall anything. In http://www.ubuntu-es.org/node/157198#.WWCyvydLfrc they advised to go to /var/lib/dpkg/info as root, then to remove all files including util-linux on its names.
