This lines in /lib/udev/hwdb.d/60-keyboard.hwdb actually fix it: # ProBook 650 evdev:atkbd:dmi:bvn*:bvr*:bd*:svnHewlett-Packard*:pnHP*ProBook*650*:pvr* KEYBOARD_KEY_f8=wlan Note: I assumed that the ProBook 650 g2 has the same keycode.
