Hello Cliff,
Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with cups. You made
this bug report some time ago and Ubuntu and cups have been updated since then.
Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the
ticket?
If it is still a problem, are you still interested in finding a solution to
this bug?
If you are, could you let us know and, in the current version, could you run
the following (only once):
apport-collect 1354596
and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this
particular issue.
Thank you again for helping make Ubuntu and cups better.

Title:
Internal Server Error accessing localhost:631/admin
Status in cups package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
This is one of two problems I'm seeing on the Gnome version of 14.10.
Since there is a boot problem using the normal process (the first
problem) I've boot systemd with init=/lib/systemd/systemd rather than
using normal upstart boot. The system comes up but trying to open the
localhost:631/admin to configure cups I get an Internal Server Error.
Trying to stop or start the cupsd I get this message
cliff@cliffsyx:~$ sudo start cupsd
