Now that the libmediaart MIR has been approved LP# 1360565. We want to re-enable this support. libmediaart allows tracker to index metadata and images from media files. It was originally part of tracker itself but split out into seperate library for tacker-1.0. This should be very low risk tracker has built against this code, most of the cycle and it was only disabled for a few weeks. Either way I have tested with the current tracker version ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.10 Package: tracker 1.0.4-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.16.0-14.20-generic 3.16.2 Uname: Linux 3.16.0-14-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia ApportVersion: 2.14.7-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: GNOME Date: Thu Sep 18 08:30:15 2014 InstallationDate: Installed on 2012-09-23 (724 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu GNOME Remix 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal" - Alpha amd64(20120922) SourcePackage: tracker UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tracker/+bug/1370755/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages Post to : touch-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~touch-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
