Title:
problem pairing Jabra BT2050
Status in bluez package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
This is tested on:
nexus4 (vivid-proposed) #96
bq (stable) #17
Steps taken:
1. turn on Bluetooth on device.
2. put Jabra BT2050 on pairing mode.
3. click on "Jabra BT2050..." in Bluetooth setting on device
4. prompted with new page, click on "Connect" button.
5. New popover with this message "Bluetooth Pairing Request PIN for 'Jabra
BT2050' [textfield: 0000], click on "Pair" button.
[ at this point new handset is added to the list and "connected" sound is
played in handset but whole settings UI on device is frozen for about 15sec.
bluetooth icon in topbar is white-connected. ]
6. In bluetooth setting Click on ">" next to Jabra BT2050 to see more info.
7. Status on that page is saying: "Connecting..." while button at the bottom
says: "Disconnect" see attached picture.
8. open Phone app and try to call anyone, sound is coming out from phone
speakers.
After "forgetting this device" and pairing it again for few times I
managed to connect it and it worked but only to make one phone call
after I hangup I wasn't able to use bluetooth again.
If I good remember this time then it worked I was't prompted for
pairing password.
Any more info you need please let me know.
I must add that this handset works well on nexus4 and other phones.
