Title:
Network-Manager - Incorrect settings during Installation
Status in network-manager package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Hi,
Apologies for this, but I am not an Ubuntu Desktop user.
I do, however, frequent a few Linux forums and try to help people out on
occasion.
Recently there's been a spate of people reporting Network-Manager in
Ubuntu having wrong settings after an install.
Examples are:
https://www.reddit.com/r/linux4noobs/comments/aaq1tb/10mbs_instead_of_1000mbs_on_network_interface/
https://www.reddit.com/r/Ubuntu/comments/abtvwo/ubuntu_in_fast_ethernet_how_get_gigabit/
Just thought I'd bring this to your attention, in case it's not a
known issue.
