  3) I expected my headset's microphone to be used by the system directly or at 
least to be able to "toggle" it

  4) It's not even recognized and keeps using my laptop's internal
  microphone. I did tests using Discord and when I got closer to my
  laptop's internal mic, my voice was louder as my friends reported. I
  could see on some graphs like pavucontrol's that it was the case. But
  it never happened when I got my headset's mic close to my mouth.
