Title:
  Application unfocused if returning from lock screen with password
  enabled

Status in “unity8” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  If a password is enabled (instead of a pin or swipe unlock) then an
  application loses focus when returning from the lock screen. While the
  application can still be interacted with, it isn't able to accept
  input due to not being considered the currently focused application by
  the input framework.

  Steps to reproduce:

   1) Set a password in System Settings -> Security & Privacy -> Lock
  phone -> Lock security

   2) Return to the dash

   3) Lock the phone

   4) Unlock the phone and enter password

   5) Tap search icon

  Expected result:

   Application should by focused and the keyboard and input cursor
  should appear

  Actual result:

   Search box gets focus within the application but the application itself
doesn't have focus, so the keyboard and cursor don't appear.

   Viewing the unity8-dash.log shows the last entry as
"UbuntuWindow::handleSurfaceFocusChange(focused=false)" upon returning to the
application from the lock screen.

   The user then has to swipe right to the application switcher and re-
  enter the app for it to regain focus.
