This is a scary bug. I was just trying to verify the syntax of a timer file using systemd v237. I got an error message back suggesting something like rm -rf / was attempted to be executed instead!
$ sudo systemd-analyze verify /etc/systemd/system/my.timer Attempted to remove disk file system, and we can't allow that. Backporting this fix could help reduce the risk of heart attacks. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Touch seeded packages, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1817627 Title: systemd-analyze verify reports failure Status in Ubuntu Manpage Repository: Invalid Status in systemd package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Version 237 and 238 of systemd-analyze have a known issue: https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/8592 When will a fix be posted?
