This sounds unfortunate. I'm not sure what went wrong there, but I can't
reproduce it. Are you sure you did not press enter first or something?

apt update continued to update after I said "n" at the prompt

Bug description:
I ran "apt update" and see there were packages that needed update, I
wanted to see wihch ones, so I ran "apt upgrade", looked at the
packages needing to be upgraded, realized it would take too long and I
was already running behind so I said NO to the prompt to continue. It
then proceeded to complete the updates as if I had said yes. See
attached screen shot.
