Neither the keyboard shortcuts nor gnome's sliders work. They move, but brightness remains unchanged. I first noticed this after disconnecting an external display, but I have since rebooted and the problem remains. This on Focal. I have done a series of upgrades since the original installation and I know this used to work, but I can't be sure of when exactly it stopped working. I noticed now, but it could have arisen earlier. I am pretty sure it was OK on Disco. I attach the output of lshw. Let me know what else I can provide.
