Rhytmbox 0.12.8 no sound on playback

Bug description:
I am using Ubuntu 10.04LTS Lucid Lynx.
All system sounds are OK also movie playback.
But when I tried mp3 playback nothing happened no sound whatsoever. I
tried using Rhythmbox 0.12.8, VLC Media Player 1.0.6, Frostwire Player
4.20.9.
