  Sound problem and others

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
   Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Lucid Lynx

  alsa-base:
    Installed: 1.0.22.1+dfsg-0ubuntu3
    Candidate: 1.0.22.1+dfsg-0ubuntu3
    Version table:
   *** 1.0.22.1+dfsg-0ubuntu3 0

          100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I had problem with sound so i decided to do a new install. I booted
from the live cd everything was fine, sound was working and sound
preferences too. I installed from there, then the problems started.

  1. After the install, during the "required reboot" the cd was ejected and i
got I/0 errors
  2. During reboot got hda-intel spurious response
  3. Sound was working for the first 60 seconds, i could see the hardware in
sound preferences then it disappeared and stopped working :(

Up till now i installed Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Lucid Lynx form CD 3 times
and i got the same errors every time.
