Title:
Output "Connector" doesn't work, it outputs always from both
connectors
Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Package: alsa-base (or pulseaudio, not sure)
lsb_release -rd: Ubuntu lucid (development branch) (beta1, up-to-date)
This is a Dell XPS 1530. It has 3 connectors (2 outputs, one input)
When connecting headphones , the sound comes from both connectors, and
changing the connector manually from the sound preferences doesn't
change anything.
On Karmic this was working (it wasn't automatically, which would be
great, but it worked when I changed it manually from the sound
preferences)
